The Boudoir Experience

Booking your boudoir photoshoot is super simple—just shoot me an email at emily@boudoirbyemilygualdoni.com or give me a call at 815-719-0351. Together, we’ll find a date and time that works perfectly with your schedule. You can even check my availability online, making it easy to lock in your ideal day. Keep in mind, I usually need about a month from the shoot date to deliver the album, so it’s a good idea to book as early as possible to snag your preferred time slot!

Once we’ve set everything up, I’ll send you a booking proposal with all the details—shoot date, time, location, and your package choice. The proposal will include a digital contract for you to sign, so we’re all on the same page.

To reserve your spot, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required, which will be applied to your final package cost. The remaining balance is due on the day of your shoot, or if you’re using a payment plan, the second 25% installment will be due then.

Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll send over all the info you need to prepare for your shoot—from wardrobe tips to what to bring, plus a timeline so you know exactly what to expect. Let’s make this experience as smooth and exciting as possible!

Every boudoir shoot is as unique as the person behind the lens, and my goal is to bring your vision to life in the most authentic way possible. Once your session is booked, I’ll send over a few curated Pinterest boards packed with inspiration to help you visualize your ideal look—from makeup and hair to poses and lingerie options. You’re also welcome to create your own board with your favorite ideas, and together, we’ll work to bring your dream shoot to reality.

To ensure your experience is personal and tailored to you, I’ll send you a short questionnaire. This helps me get to know you on a deeper level—understanding why you’re doing this, what excites or makes you nervous, your insecurities, and what makes you feel confident. I’ll even ask about your favorite music and your ideal temperature to make sure everything is just right for you.

To make sure you feel absolutely amazing on the day of your shoot, I’ll provide detailed emails with tips on everything from skincare and haircare to outfit suggestions based on your body type. I’m here to guide you every step of the way and answer any questions or concerns you have leading up to your session. Your peace of mind is my priority, and I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to rock your boudoir shoot!

No need to rush on the day of your shoot—just arrive at the scheduled time, and we’ll get things started! When you walk through the door, we’ll kick things off with a 15-minute consultation to review your outfits and pick the best options for the shoot. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with choices, don’t stress—I’m here to help guide you and answer any questions.

After we’ve sorted the wardrobe, you’ll have 1.5 to 2 hours with my amazing makeup and hair artist (yes, the same person for both!). This is your chance to unwind, sip some champagne, and let us enhance your natural beauty while we work together to create the perfect look for you.

Once you’re all glammed up, we’ll go over your questionnaire again to make sure we’re fully aligned on your vision. We’ll also chat through any last-minute questions or concerns you might have before the shoot begins. Throughout the session, I’ll guide you step by step—no need to worry about posing! I’ll keep the vibe relaxed, play your favorite music, and make sure you feel confident, empowered, and ready to shine in front of the camera. You’re going to look and feel amazing!

After your shoot, I’ll spend the next seven to ten days carefully curating your images to highlight the best version of you. I’ll make light edits, like skin smoothing, color correction, and adjusting exposure, so every photo looks its absolute best. You’ll get access to around 150 proofs in your private online gallery, where you can review and select your favorites, all from the comfort of your own home.

If you fall in love with more images than are included in your package, no worries! You can easily purchase additional images, and I’d be thrilled to add them to your collection.

Once you’ve made your final selections, I’ll go in for more advanced retouching to fine-tune everything. I’ll focus on enhancing your features while addressing things like scars, acne, redness, stretch marks, and cellulite. I’ll also fix any wardrobe bumps and make cropping adjustments where needed. My goal is to make sure you look and feel incredible in every final image—highlighting your beauty and smoothing out anything you're not crazy about.

You can expect to receive your final, retouched digital images about two weeks after making your selections. They’ll be delivered via Dropbox in high resolution for the best quality, and you’ll get both color and black-and-white versions of your favorite images. Trust me, you’re going to love them!

If you've chosen the signature album, I’ll take your selected retouched images and craft a custom album design that reflects your unique style and personality. Before I start designing, you'll have the chance to let me know if you'd like any of your images in black and white instead of color for a more timeless feel.

Once I have all the details, I’ll create the album design and send it to you for review. You'll have the chance to provide feedback, and if you want any changes, we can do one complimentary revision. After that, any additional revisions will incur a $50 fee per revision.

Once we’ve got the design just right, I’ll place the order for your album. It’ll take about a week to arrive, and I’ll ship it to your home in a discreet, anonymous box for your privacy.
